Life Choice Foods – Review and #Giveaway

Being back at work has been BUSY. Between daycare, commuting, getting to work on time, Monkey being sick, trying to keep the house clean (ha!), figuring out “What’s for Dinner?” sometimes gets forgotten. And I hate that mad rush of figuring out what you are going to eat trying to find something healthy and fast.

The timing was perfect when Life Choices Foods contacted me to see if I would interested in reviewing some of their products.
A little about Life Choices Foods:
In 2002, soon after the birth of our first child, we created Life Choices Natural Foods and two lines of nutritious and convenient meals: organic pizzas and entrees. As our family grew, we realized a need for a better assortment of these nutritious and convenient products along with a need for more kid-friendly products. Everything we do uses a sustainability focused business approach that focuses on minimizing our environmental footprint. This means sourcing as much local raw material as possible and staying conscious of how our product is packaged and how far it will travel.For our family I decided to test out 2 of our classic “Need dinner ready now” meals: Chicken Strips and Whole Fish Fillets.

In general I try not to cook too many processed foods, I want Monkey to grow up learning healthy eating habits. But there are times when prepackaged frozen food is just so convenient! Now I don’t have to feel guilt anymore – Life Choice Foods offers quick, healthy AND yummy options.

HubsM was sceptical at first but after trying both products he decided they were “Good”. Monkey loved both the fish (the first fish he has tried) and the chicken – he devoured everything he was given and still wanted more. Both products even though they were frozen tasted fresh and light, no grease to be found! I love that the multigrain coating is a source of Omega 3 and fiber.Both the Chicken and the fish cooked up crispy in under 20 minutes. And one package lasted for 2 meals for both the chicken and fish, making the cost comparable other varieties.

I love that Life Choices Products are a guilt free quick family meal that everyone loves. I know that having their products in my freezer has made my transition back to work just a little bit easier by not having to worry about dinner.

Life Choice foods offers a great variety of products including meatballs, pierogies and pizza. Next on our list to try is the All Beef Hot Dogs, which are Nitrite free.
