Lets Celebrate Canada Day! #TGCBB
This post is part of The Great Canadian Blog Bash – so be sure to check out some other wonderful Canadian Blogs!
Well Canada Day is right around the corner, hard to believe we will be into July in just 1 week! One thing that Canada Day always reminds me of is how much amazing talent we have right in out own backyard. And I am not just talking about musicians or actors (although seeing Jann Arden play on Canada Day in my hometown last year was AMAZING). I am talking about our local Canadian small business, you know the ones that produce one of a kind products you just can’t find at the big box stores. That is one reason why I love shopping at farmers markets, you are always able to find great selection of Canadian products you can’t find anywhere else. Some of my favorite Canadian Business this year are:
Eudora Fine Foods – Offers an amazing variety of Indian inspired signature sauces and gourmet preserves that are sure to satisfy. They have quickly become one of my favorite “go-to” gift giving options because who wouldn’t LOVE some simple to prepare butter chicken or mouth watering Mango Chutney! Be sure follow them on facebook and twitter for some great recipe ideas.

Primeridge Pure Artisan Cheese – It is a fact: I love cheese. I mean really who doesn’t love cheese? Well Primeridge Pure, a small family based cheese plant in Markdale, ON, makes some of the BEST cheese I have ever had! From Cream cheese and cheese curds to cracked black peppercorn cheese, they have it all. Want to learn a little more about Primeridge Pure, check out this great article about them in the Globe & Mail and follow them on facebook.

And of course talking about some of my favorite Canadian Small Business would not be complete without mentioning From the Blue House {with Love}. I have talked about my love for the handmade soaps from this company once or twice before, and my obsession had only grown from there. From the Blue House not only makes bar soaps with the most wonderful scents (Mint Java Scrub has always been my #1 favorite), but they also create specialty lines for kids, Dads, and Baby Blocks Cloth Wipe Solution.
