Life can Change in a Moment – 2 years ago today
It is hard to believe that 2 years ago today, I was at work on a typical Thursday, having no idea what life would have in store for me in the next 24 hours. After having a wonderful dinner in downtown Toronto with coworkers I headed home for what I hoped would be a restful nights sleep. A.C. had other plans for me, and in less then 12 hours I would go from just being “Kate” to becoming “Mom“.
The few hours we had to prepare for the possible birth of our baby passed in a blur. You see at 32 weeks pregnant we had not packed a hospital bag yet or even finalized names that we liked!
Wanting things your way right from the start you didn’t want to wait to make your entrance into the world
The past 2 years have been an amazing adventure, and I feel blessed every single day to be your mother. I can’t wait to see what new lessons you will teach me tomorrow.
