As summer winds down back-to-school shopping kicks into high gear.  Why not have a little fun while you are out at the malls this weekend?  GapKids Shine On Saturdays are a great way to get out with the family, have some fun, and let your kids express their creativity while also getting some of the all important back-to-school shopping done.

What is GapKids Shine On?  Kids can take part in creating special back to school projects created my Merrilee Liddiard of Mer Mag.  Each project was inspired by the GapKids and babyGap fall collection, which includes  their new demin collection with Action Stretch Denim for boys and the colourful Jewel Box Skinnies for girls.  This weeks project will be making your very own Animal Character Badges perfect for pinning on a new backpack.
Check out these kids having some fun with another project created my Merrilee:

In the Toronto Area GapKids Shine On Saturday will be taking place
Saturday August 25
10am – 1pm
GapKids @ Square One
100 City Centre Drive
Mississauga, ON
L5B 2C9
So if you are heading out to the mall this weekend make sure you stop by GapKids to take part in fun filled activities at Shine On Saturday which are sure to inspire the inner artist in your little one.  And don’t forget to to check to see if there is an event going on in your GapKids store local area as there are Shine On Saturdays happening across the US too!
