“O” Babies grow up way too fast #FirstCheerios
One thing A.C. has always done well is EAT– from his NICU days of gaining 2 lbs in 5 weeks to now where many nights A.C. and I will eat the same amount for dinner. From the early days of finger foods I loved watching his determination as he tried to pick up Cheerios and actually get them into his mouth. That proud smile of success as he was happily gumming away at them. It is amazing how quickly our tiny babies grow into toddlers. And A.C.’s love for “O”s has only grown along with him.
It is not unusual for him to run for the cereal cupboard as soon as we walk in the door in the evening to ask for some “O”s as a pre-dinner snack. From A.C.’s first handfuls of cheerios (he didn’t do the one by one for very long!) to now being able to sit at the dining room table with us and eat “O’s & Milk” Cheerios have been a favorite for the whole family. And as a mom, I feel good knowing that when I give him cheerios for a snack he is eating a cereal that has no artificial colours or flavours and is a great source of fibre.
General Mills has created a unique way to capture “First Cheerios” moments – because admit it, as a proud mama you are snapping pictures of each and every milestone your child reaches – big and small. They are putting together a mosaic of First Cheerios pictures and you can be a part of it! What do you need to do?
Make sure you visit the General Mills LifeMade Delicious facebook page to share a photo of your little one’s first cheerios moments. The first 1,000 participants to submit a photo will receive a coupon for a FREE box of cheerios(Limit 1 per household). Selected images will be used to create a mosaic that will be featured on limited edition boxes of Cheerios in 2013!
So here is to celebrating all of your Little Ones firsts, because babies really do grow up “O” so fast!
