Wrapping gifts – you either love it or hate it. I grew up with presents always wrapped and decorated with ribbons and bows under our Christmas Tree. It is a tradition that I have tried to keep up, and Hubs and I have a perfectly choreographed system to get all the presents wrapped without ending up arguing. Please tell me I am not the only one who has had fights during late night wrapping sessions when you are overtired, and have a to do list a mile long. Hubs is willing to help me wrap gifts, but he as 2 rules:
We have wasted too much time over the years with wrapping paper that rips and tears before you even get it around the present. And with cheap tape that won’t cut, so you end up with a sticky ball of tape and frustration instead of nicely wrapped gift. Hubs put his foot down: when shopping for gift wrap and supplies only brand name would do. Once we have everything gathered here is how our gift wrapping system works:
1 – I will prepare and box any gifts that need it, so that they are ready to be wrapped
2 – Hubs wraps the boxes and tags them
Bored of just plain wrapping paper? You could also use newspapers, comics, or even a road map to wrap up your gifts!
