Last summer I took Monkey and Little Bear to African Lion Safari for the first time and they had an amazing time! We happened to go on one of the hottest days of the summer but that didn’t stop us for enjoying everything the park had to offer including an air conditioned ride through the Game Reserves. Ever since our wild adventure I have been hearing from Monkey about how much he enjoyed our visit and how he wants to go back to see “The elephants go for a swim” again. A trip to African Lion Safari is a great way to see and learn about over 100 different species of exotic birds and animals and make memories to last a lifetime. African lion safari coupons

Pack a Picnic – Make sure you bring lots of drinks and snack to enjoy throughout the day. While African Lion Safari offers a great range of dining options you can also pack a cooler and enjoy your own picnic lunch at the park. Even when at the far end of the park you are only a max 15 min walk from the car to grab anything you need.
Take in a Show or Two – Have a look at the show schedule when you arrive at the park to get an idea of what shows you would like to see. I would highly recommend the elephant swim, as it was one of the highlights of the trip for all of us. I am looking forward to taking in the “Parrot Paradise” and “Birds Of Prey” flying demonstration on our next visit in at the end of this month
Go on a Safari – Drive your own vehicle or take a ride in an air conditioned safari bus (additional cost) through the 9km of trails through the African Lion Safari Reserve. Get up close with the lions, zebras, rhinos, giraffes and more as they roam the reserve. Although the Safari bus is an additional cost, I liked that I did not need to worry about my car being damaged and had a guide who could point out and tell us about the animals as we went through the park.
Pack Your Bathing Suit – You will regret it if you don’t pack bathing suits and towels (and sun screen too!) for you to enjoy Misumu Bay Wet Play Area. Get wet and wild in the extensive splash pad area that includes slides, sprinklers, tumble buckets and so much more. The Butterfly Area is a great place for infant and toddlers to enjoy the water with smaller slides, and swings for small ones.
Enjoy the day out and get a little “WILD” at African Lion Safari this summer! Make sure you check out all the other benefits and exclusive savings there are to your CAA Membership. CAA can help keep your kids busy all summer long without you having to spend a fortune!
