How do you normally spend Canada Day? I know it is a few months away still, but it is never too early to think ahead. Do you normally enjoy a backyard BBQ with friends? Head to the cottage to spend the day with your family? What about heading to our nations capital to celebrate Canada’s birthday in style??? Not something you would normally do? Well Chicken Farmers is going to make it happen for 1 lucky family this Canada Day!
The Team Up for Canadian Chicken Contest is going on right now and you have the chance to win some amazing prizes for yourself as well as a donation to a food bank of your choice! Sounds like a win/win situation to me, so what are the fabulous prizes that are up for grabs? By entering the contest you have a chance to win:
- First Prize – 3 day, 2 night trip for four to Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day with Chicken Farmers of Canada (June 30July 2, 2014), Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $500 food bank donation (approximate value up to $4,300 depending on winner’s location)
- Second Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $250 food bank donation (approximate value $425)
- Third Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $100 food bank donation (approximate value $225).
Entering is EASY – head on over to the Chicken Farmers facebook page and have a look at the 3 recipes. Once you have decided which one YOU think should be the winner let the Chicken Farmers know by writing 2-4 sentences about why you choose that recipe. Are you gaga for Royal Gala Apples so The Royal Gala chicken Sandwich is your winner? Or is Honey Dijon more your thing so you are all over The Preston Street Chicken Sandwich? Let them know! The contest is open to Canada only and closes May 29, 2015.
To spread the fun around even more the Chicken Farmers is hosting a #TeamCdnChicken Twitter Party! Join me on May 21, 2015 at 9pm EST for an awesome chicken chat with @ChickenFarmers. Of course there will be lively conversation and sharing of delicious recipes. Leave your twitter handle below to RSVP for the party. See you there!
