I’m not sure what the secret ingredient is in your home sweet home, but mine made sweet by all the loving friends and family inside. It’s the moments and milestones, the holidays and the memories. This past year, this has been put to the test as a dear member of our family has undergone treatment at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Initially it seemed like a dire diagnosis. We worried we would only have a few more moments, wondered about holidays, tried to hold tight to the memories we had for fear there wouldn’t be any new ones to make. But thanks to a leading-edge clinical trial and lot of love and care from everyone at PMH, we celebrated the holidays, lingered over meals, blew out birthday candles and made plans for the future.
We are eternally grateful to have access to The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. One of the Top 5 Cancer research centers in the world, it hosts Canada’s largest and one of the world’s top-rated clinical trial programs. It is home to world firsts including stem cells, t-cell receptors, lung cancer gene signature and more.
It’s no wonder that The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Home Lottery has the biggest prizing ever this year. When you need to fund the biggest cancer research and clinical program in Canada and treating over 17,000 new patients a year, you have to go big.
The grand prize includes a Kleinburg Showhome valued at $3.7 Million. It also includes Muskoka Lakefront cottage valued at $700,000. AND the winner will also take home $100,000 cash.
There are millions more in prizes. Homes, cottages, holidays, cars, amazing stuff. You can win big time. I’ve already bought my tickets, but that’s because I already consider myself a winner. With everyone sitting around the table for Sunday dinner, my home is as sweet as can be. (Though I will admit, the video tour of the Kleinburg home did get my heart racing a little).
