Summer may be drawing to a close, but it is not over yet! I still have a few BBQs lined up to celebrate those last warm summer days before we are back to coats, hats and mitts. When we have get togethers with friends everyone pitches in so that it is not all on the host to provide all the food. And with my love affair with chocolate I often offer to bring a dessert. Now there are times that I opt for something like Brownies or Cheesecake, however when you are having a large group of dishes served it is sometimes nice to have a recipe where the portion can be just a taste or if the person enjoys it they can have a lot more. Dips perfectly serve this purpose, and are not just for appetizers! If you are looking for a dessert Dip idea, then look no further then this Cookie Dough Dip with Pretzels!
Now there is good news and bad news when it comes to this Cookie Dough Dip. The good news is that it only takes 5 minutes to make. The bad news is that it is so good that it disappears fast, and you might need to make more. After you get your first taste you might second guess sharing this delight with your friends. But I encourage you to gram an oversized bag of pretzels and let the dipping begin!
This creamy no bake dessert dip is a great combination of sweet and salty when served with Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels. The Snaps variety of Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels offers the perfect base on which to dip and load on your Cookie Dough Dip. The pretzels are sturdy enough to scoop up dip with the chocolate chips without breaking which saves you from fishing out pieces lost in the dip.

And really you can’t go wrong with this dip, we are talking about Cookie Dough after all. I divided up the recipe into 2 containers so I could have one out at a time and the swap out once one was finished. You could also change up this dip by used different types of chocolate chips or adding in other items like mini marshmallows or chopped nuts. However because this is a nut-free recipe and Synder’s of Hanover Pretzels are made in a peanut-free facility this recipe is perfect if you need a dessert where there are restrictions on peanuts like church or school groups.
This also means that when Monkey and Little Bear head back to school in a few weeks I can include the snack size packs of the Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels in their lunches. The line of Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels that are made in the peanut-free facility will be labeled with new allergen information making it easy for both parents and teachers to identify them as a peanut-free snacks that is safe for school. You can find these pretzels in many local retailers and also online from Amazon.
