I love this time of year – the days are getting longer, you can ditch your hats & boots in favor of runners and the grass is getting greener – Spring is in the air, and Easter is right around the corner. Easter is a family affair in my house – my Mother’s Easter Egg Hunt is a long standing tradition, even after all of us “kids” were far too old to be hunting. It is a time to enjoy each others company, to celebrate, and to count our blessings.
I know KINDER® Eggs will be a part of our Easter Egg Hunt this year, as my mom has gone a little KINDER® crazy since she found out A.C can enjoy them as a special treat. I am proud to announce that KINDER® has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network to present “A Joy To Share” campaign. This campaign aims to recognize the value of time and experiences you share with your children, as well as the importance of parent-child bonding. By partnering with the Children’s Miracle Network, KINDER® is helping to spread joy to families in need, not just this holiday season but all year long.
You can help support the Children’s Miracle Network and the A Joy To Share campaign by purchasing seasonal KINDER® products such as the KINDER® Easter Egg Hunt Kit or the KINDER® Mix which comes with a cuddly stuffed animal. Donations are also accepted online on the Children’s Miracle Network. Want to learn more about the families touched by the work of the Children’s Miracle Network? Visit the KINDER® Canada Facebook Page to read the stories of everyday real-life heroes. I was especially touched by Dominique’s story of her preemie Liam, born at 25 weeks. As a fellow preemie mom I can completely relate when she says that sometime her NICU days feel like a lifetime ago, and yet others it feels like it was yesterday. And I know how much the care and support from the NICU makes a difference in your everyday life. I will be checking back to read stories of more “Miracle Moms” on the KINDER® Facebook, and hope you stop by too!
How will you be sharing Joy this Easter Season?
