It is no secret around here that the Little Miss Kate Household loves Kinder Surprise Eggs. A special treat saved for the biggest occasions like… successfully using the potty or getting dressed for outside all by youself. Go big or go home right? To celebrate the end of summer we decided to have a Monster Party with a little help from the limited edition Monsters Inc Kinder Surprise Eggs.
A Monster Party is the perfect kids birthday party idea or great for a “just because” party. It is simple to put together and doesn’t require buying a lot of supplies. So how do you have your very own Monster Party?
Invitations: Create an invitation in powerpoint and save it as am image you can email out to all of the little monsters you will be inviting.
Craft: Create your own Monster. Decorate a paper bag monster with feathers, construction paper, googly eyes, sparkles and whatever else you have on hand. The crazier the better! Have the kids take turns describing the personalities of the monsters they have created. Is it a scary monster, funny monster? What does the monster like to eat?
Games: Going on a Monster Hunt! Armed with flash lights our little monsters went out in search of finding even more monsters and maybe a little treat too! I hid figurines and a few Kinder Surprise Treats in our basement for them to find. Make sure it is not too easy, have them hunting high and low!
Cake: No party is complete without cake! I found a great monster cupcake set at my local dollar store I used the wrappers and the cupcake toppers along with stickers that were inside of one of the Kinder Surprise Eggs to decorate cupcakes for the party.
All of the Monsters Inc figures and stickers are from the limited edition Monsters Inc Kinder Eggs where you will find a Monsters Inc toy in EVERY egg! Want to see what is new at Kinder Surprise? Join them on facebook and have a Monster of a Time!
