Wow what a couple of busy days! Visiting with lots family, 3 turkey dinners, sweets & dessert overload – I would not change a thing. Now we are enjoying a lazy Boxing day at home, slowing cleaning up the post Christmas mess and enjoying some of our new gifts. The only trip we made today was a visit to Target Canada so Hubs could spend some of his Christmas money on a few things that he didn’t get under the tree.
Not surprisingly, electronics was the busiest section of the store. However there was lots of staff on hand to answer questions and help customers. The sales on Blu Ray & DVDs were amazing!!! With prices from $4 Hubs was in heaven. How could I say no to Live Free or Die Hard on Blu Ray for $5. In the end Hubs picked out 3 movies to come home with us – X-Mex: First Class, The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey Extended Edition and Live Free or Die Hard. However there were LOTS of titles for the whole family including Epic, Ice Age and lots of chick flicks too.
Once we had finished our fun shopping I was able to grab a couple of “essentials” we were running low on including milk and bread. Oh and ice cream sandwiches too (Hubs wanted them and they were on sale). I love being able get everything I need at one store.
Now it is time to put my feet up and watch a movie with Hubs. Our biggest decision tonight is going to be which movie to watch. Did you venture out and do any Boxing Day shopping today?
