Come out come out wherever you are… come on out old electronics it is time to find a new home. They seem to hide in every corning of the house tucked away on dusty shelves or in cupboard drawers. Sometimes we keep them because they were a gift, or maybe we just plain forgot about them. But the electronics deserve a better fate then just collecting dust and recycleyourelectroncs.ca can help you with that.
We all have fears, and I will admit that one of mine for a long time was the basement (I blame it all on watching Ernest Scared Stupid as a kid (don’t judge). While I am much better about it now I still find the unfinished side of our basement a bit creepy. And really it is no wonder, it is filled with boxes, selves and drawers of stuff we do not use very often (or at all, like the ahem gym weights). Lets take a little tour shall we….
My husband is a gamer and into computers, so it is not really a surprise to find old monitors and keyboards
And we can forget the joystick that that I have never seen used once in the 7 years we have been married
I am not going to pretend to know what all of these electronics and cords are for
Having a quick look at the list of electronics that can be recycled it looks like most if not all of these can be recycled to a higher purpose. Not only does that divert waste from landfills but the gold, copper and other rare metals inside the electronics can be reused to create new ones. Now that is not scary at all!
Check out this short video to see where this guys electronics are hiding at his house:
