This year was the first yeas we decorated Easter eggs at our house. Monkey is getting old enough now to take part in craft activities and I thought this would be a fun family activity. Now I didn’t go the traditional route of poking holes and blowing out the yolks of eggs, because they would have been smashed in about ohhh 3 seconds I am sure. Even hard boiled eggs would not have stood a chance against my less than graceful toddler. So what did we decorate???? Kinder Surprise Easter Eggs!
Now these eggs can stand up to Monkey! The Kinder Surprise Egg painting kit comes with 5 plastic egg shells that you can decorate with paints or any way you would like. Once you decorate the shells fit them around the Kinder Surprise eggs and you are done! It was a perfect activity to do when Grandma came for a visit and I didn’t have to worry about broken eggs. The Kinder Surprise Easter eggs are are going to look fantastic on the table at Easter, and best of all I can save them and use them next year too.
Once again Kinder has partnered to support the Children’s Miracle Network this Easter season. For each new “like” on the Kinder Canada Facebook page they get between March 1-31st they will donate $1 to this great charity, up to $25,000. So if you are not already a fan of Kinder on Facebook I encourage you to pop over and give them a quick like in support of Children’s Miracle Network!
I hope you have fun decorating eggs, hunting for chocolate and spending a nice long weekend with family!
