Ok parents, lets talk diapering. When you have tiny babies it feels like you spend 90% of your day either feeding or changing your little ones… And it feels that way because it is true! Between short stints of sleep there is a lot of pee, poop and diaper changes. As they grow there may be fewer diaper changes in a day, but different challenges arise like potty training. While we use cloth diapers in our house part-time, they are not always practical and I never personally had much success at night time cloth diapering with my tummy sleepers. When I turn to disposables I want a diaper that preforms well, but is little easier on the environment and my baby’s skin. I am happy to say that with Seventh Generation products I never need to compromise on performance, and can make a change for the better for the environment and my family.
Seventh Generation Free & Clear Diapers – These diapers have a great fit with stretchy tabs to secure the diaper, double leg gussets and stretch at the back of the diaper as well. This means that when Miss Roo is doing her acrobatics during diaper changes or showing off her flexibility by doing the splits we are still protected from leaks. The diapers are super thin, but absorbent, and we have not had any leaks with them. I love that they are fragrance free as well, and just with that they would get rid of adding the pigment to make the diapers brown. Overall we have been happy with these diapers and they fit true to size on the packaging.
Seventh Generation Free & Clear Wipes – Diapers and wipes go hand in hand and like the diapers the Seventh Generation wipes are also fragrance free. They are also alcohol-free to gently clean. These thick soft wipes are up for the tough job of cleaning up after diaper changes or even wiping down messy fingers.
Seventh Generation Free & Clear Training Pants – While I am not a huge fan of using disposable training pants during potty training (I think they can send mixed messages if they are used like a diaper) there is a time and a place where they are handy. We have popped trainers on Little Bear when we are taking long car rides and when we have have gone for sleep overs at hotels or Grandma’s house. They pull on just like underwear, and have tear away sides just in case you do have a messy accident to clean up. They are nice and thin, so they don’t feel bulky and have a lot of stretch in the sides to give you a good fit.
Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes – Ever since we potty trained Monkey we have had a container of disinfecting wipes in all of our bathrooms. We use them for everything from wiping down the potty or toilet seat to spot cleaning on the floor for questionable “messes”. Having disinfecting wipes on hand makes cleaning up while potty training just that much simpler, and hey I will take whatever I can to make potty training easier.
