This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ebates.ca. All opinions are 100% mine.
How would you like to get PAID to shop? Wait, wait, wait before you run because this sounds like some too good to be true story I promise you that Ebates.ca is EASY to use, and you earn money on PURCHASES YOU ARE ALREADY MAKING! Have you ever shopped online at Amazon? Ebay? Chapters? Old Navy? Well.ca? What about booking a hotel room with Marriott, Best Western or Holiday Inn? These are only a small sampling of the over 750 retailers that participate in the Ebates program! That’s right, order your back to school clothes online from Old Navy and get 2% Cash Back with 1 click of your mouse.
I know what you are thinking, I don’t have time to keep track of purchases or submit receipts. Programs like this are a lot of work. Well not Ebates. With only 3 steps and under 30 seconds you can be earning Cash Back when you shop online! Here is How It Works:
Get Paid To Shop
1 – Create an account – all you need is an email address, and I know you have one of those
2 – Select your store – with over 750 participating retailers and New Stores being added all the time if you shop online CHECK Ebates.ca FIRST to earn Cash Back!
Login to Ebates, find your store, click on “shop now” and you will be taken to the website for that store. Shop just as you would normally, and check out as per the regular process for that site
3 – Earn Cash Back – Ebates tracks your shopping, and you will get an email alert letting you know Cha Ching! You’re in the money! The email will show how much Cash Back you earned and from what store(s).
Payouts are made quarterly and you can choose to have your money sent by cheque, PayPal (no fees) or Amazon.ca Gift Card. Personally I love the PayPal option as that is my preferred check out method when I am shopping online. You need to meet a minimum of $5.01 to get a quarterly payment, but if you don’t make that threshold the money stays into your account and carries forward until you meet the threshold.
Here are some examples of my ACTUAL purchases where I have used Ebates over the last year – these are regular online shopping purchases I was making anyways, but was able to get Cash Back with Ebates. Who did some shopping for Amazon Prime day? *Raises hand* I earned $2.21 on the purchases I made on Amazon Prime day including a Instapot and some new dresses for Roo that are adorable.
Hotel Bookings are another way I have earn Cash Back, Two nights at 2 different hotels I have earned over $16 Cash Back, and made some great memories with my Mom & Sister on our girls getaways
And watching a Blue Jays game from your hotel room is an awesome way to enjoy the game!
When I was doing my Christmas shopping last year I made sure to cash in with Ebates. My $66 dollar order from Old Navy earned me $4.83 Cash Back! Not bad for clothing that I was buying anyways.
How do you make the most of Ebates? When shopping online, first quickly log in to Ebates and find your retailer. Click on the shop now button, and away you go. If you forget to sign into Ebates, put a little post-it note on the side of you computer monitor to help you remember.
Double check Ebates before you make a purchase to see if you can earn Cash Back by buying online. For example if you are buying new appliances at Lowes, check them out in-store to see what you like, but then order online and get 1% Cash Back on your purchases from Lowes.ca. That might not sound like a lot but it adds up fast. Plus Ebates has promotions where you Shop With Double Cash Back at certain stores making it even easier to get “in the money!”
Ebates is turning 5 years old on August 28th so if you are not already one of the 2 million Ebates members earning Cash Back when you shop online, now is the time to sign up! Plus once you see how easy it is to earn money of purchases you are already making, you can Refer a Friend as well.
If you have any questions about Ebates I would be happy to answer them in the comments. Ebates.ca really is as easy to use as 1 click to earn Cash Back when shopping online. So why not get paid for shopping that you are doing anyway???
