Some people are so easy to shop for when it comes to picking out a Christmas present, than there are the “others“. You know the “have everything, don’t really need anything, go shopping for themselves steal your gift idea right before Christmas” people. I have a few of “Those” people on my list this year, and luckily there is a go to gift that is perfect for almost any adult on your list: a CAA Membership!
Now you might be thinking, what??? A CAA Membership as a gift??? That is not fun or exciting, but au contraire! A membership to CAA is not limited to the peace of mind of excellent roadside assistance, I can attest to that as hubby and I have had to call on CAA numerous times over the past 5 years – Locking myself out of my car, needing a boost when my old car was too stubborn to start, and for the always fun towing to the shop for repairs when hubby’s truck died. CAA has always been fast and professional.
But a membership with CAA goes so much farther than just roadside assistance. There are the discounts on hotels and travel, and we all know how expensive family vacations can be so a little savings can go a long way! Don’t forget all the savings and rewards at the numerous CAA partner retailers. Some of my favourites include:
- 10% off at East Side Marios Restaurants in Canada
- 10% off regular priced merchandise at Payless ShoeSource in Canada and the US
- Cineplex Entertainment Savings – buy tickets at a CAA store or online and save
You can purchase a CAA gift membership in store or online for as little as $67 for a basic membership. Now that is a Christmas gift that fits under my Christmas tree and in my budget! Until Jan 31, 2012 when you purchase a gift membership to CAA you will receive 2 trunk organizers for free. So cross off those hard to buy for people from your Christmas list and head to CAA to pick up a a gift that keeps giving all year long!
