My DS7 is famous for his love of TV and TV commercials. When a product on TV catches his eye, he will repeat the commercial word for word to EVERYONE he meets. I remember two Christmas ago, he was watching TV and found this unique toy and became obsessed with it. He would recite the commercial for everyone and he insisted it was the only thing he wanted for Christmas. I spent a good deal of time scouring the internet, trying to locate this toy. After many hours, I finally came across. I was so excited! Christmas was saved! I went to order it only to find out they DON’T SHIP TO CANADA! I was devastated. Luckily, DS7 was young and his attention span was quickly turned to another toy that I was able to get in Canada, so Christmas was not ruined. It really annoyed and surprised me that I didn’t have access to the toy he really wanted!
The solution the next time I run into a situation I want to buy something from a US company that does not ship here: MyUS.com
MyUS.com is a mail and package forwarding service. It began in 1996, when the Founder, Eric Baird, sought to create a company that would allow people to have access to American products all over the world. Growing up, Eric’s father was in the military, constantly moving the family from country to country. Finding items that couldn’t be located in the country he lived in at the time or finding the same items cheaper in the USA, became a constant problem for Eric. He set out to create a company that would provide U.S. consolidation services to Americans living overseas. The concept caught on quickly and soon orders began pouring in making MyUS.com a huge success! Today it is the largest and most trusted package forwarding company in the world.
MyUs.com helps non Americans buy clothes, toys, games and more from the USA, even if merchants won’t accept international payment methods or won’t ship to your international address.
