Nesting – the name given to the distinctive urge to clean, tidy, organize and prepare for the arrival of your baby during pregnancy. Creating that perfect “nest” where you will bring your baby home to, and raise your family in. I did not go through the nesting phase with my pregnancy with Monkey, due to his surprise early arrival. And honestly didn’t think it would happen when I was pregnant with Little Bear. That is until I was waddling around like a mad woman making sure all of the baby clothes were washed and trying to figure out how I was going to fit them into Monkey’s dresser. And where were we going to put all of the baby stuff now that the toddler toys had taken over?!?Sears is celebrating this nesting phase with their Newborn Nesting Event! From now until April 4, 2013 if you spend $250 (before tax) on nursery “must-haves” which include cribs, furniture, gliders and nursery decor/bedding you will receive 15% back on a Sears cash card. You can then use this card to make purchases at Sears from May 1-31, 2013 to pick up anything you you may have missed or even a cute outfit or two if baby has arrived! If you prefer to do your shopping online, don’t worry you still get 15% back in Sears e-cash cards.
There are times where I am sad I did not get to go through the usual newborn nesting stages when I was pregnant with Monkey. Being able to pick out our baby furniture and set up the nursery before his arrival. If I was going to have a “Do Over” I would be sure to pick up some of these cute Monkey themed items available at Sears.
Did you go through a nesting phase when you were expecting?
