It is crunch time – Christmas is fast approaching and I am slowly chipping away at my to do list. I was able to stock up on stocking stuffers at Walmart last week. The first thing I did when I arrived was head to the Walmart photo studio to print out some pictures. I am going to to try to get my Christmas cards out this week and wanted to include some of the pictures from our recent family photo shoot. With the 1 hour service I was able to order my prints and then head out to do the rest of my shopping.
Now I don’t know about you, but in my family everyone gets socks & underwear in their stocking. I picked up the essentials for Hubs and Monkey. But for Little Bear, since he has no need for undies yet, I picked up soothers and an adorable outfit for him.
I was also able to get hubby the new Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray. He tried to break the “No shopping for yourself in December” Rule we have at our house and pick this up last week. I put a quick stop to that, he is hard enough to shop for at the best of times, I don’t need him stealing my gift ideas! Now if only I could afford to get the Plasma TV he wants to go with it I would be wife of the year.
My last stop was the Seasonal section of the store. I love looking at all of the festive decorations. Walmart had an adorable selection of items for baby’s first Christmas. I even had Little Bear try on a hat!
Then I was off to the check out with my purchases with a quick stop at the photocentre to pick up my prints. I was able to get a lot done in one trip. Now I need to sit down and write out my Christmas cards so that they will arrive BEFORE Christmas!
What items do you buy as stocking stuffers for your family?
