There has been a fierce competition going on in my Department for the last week. The kind that has people whispering quietly to one another, plotting and strategizing, and pitting coworker against coworker.
Things have been a little tense, but we are learning to cope and adapt to this new work environment. Trying to figure out how to get ahead of the pack and come out on top.
That’s right it is time for… my work Departmental Food Drive!
Our department was divided up into 5 groups for a friendly competition all in the name of charity. No prize, just bragging rights for the rest of the year that your team did the best. After 2 weeks competition is heating up. We still have 1 more week to go, but look at the stash we have collected so far.
Right now I am in the winning group, but with 1 week left in the Food Drive anything can happen! I am going to make sure when we go grocery shopping this weekend to pick up some more donations to try to keep us on top, it is a competition after all.
