What happens when you take crushed Oreo cookies, mini marshmallows and peanuts and mix them with melted chocolate? You get the most delicious yet utterly simple Rocky Ridge Bark!
A great twist on the classic almond bark this recipe is a great one to do with children. With only4 ingredients you likely have everything you need to make this recipe in your house right NOW (quick go run and check, I will wait here).
Now that you have gathered the ingredients get your children involved. Let them break up the Oreo cookies either by hand or with a butter knife. Chopping the peanuts might be better as a grown up job depending on the age of your kids. Melt the chocolate in the microwave on medium heat stirring often. Once the chocolate is melted mix all the ingredients together.
Spread the mixture onto a parchment (or wax paper) lined baking sheet, and allow to cool.
Break into pieces and ENJOY! Pack the bark in a mason jar with a ribbon and it would make a great gift too! A perfect treat for your valentine :o)
